Generally, the Secretary is responsible for keeping records of the DC PBK Association’s board meetings, maintaining core documents for the Association and its programs, and serving as a resource for matters pertaining to the Association’s governance. Specifically, these duties include:

  • Taking the minutes at each quarterly meeting of the DC PBK Association board of directors, and sending out the minutes to all members of the board for approval.

  • Maintaining the Association’s google drive, which includes important Association governing documents, position descriptions, prior board meeting minutes, and other documents associated with the Association’s various programs and initiatives.

  • Establishing and keeping the Association’s annual board member contact list

  • Answering questions that board members may have about meeting quorums, officer elections, and other matters included in the Association’s governing document

  • Filling in various roles or functions as the President deems appropriate
